Colonial Park is a 2.17-acre park located at 5315 19th Avenue in Sacramento, California's Colonial Heights Neighborhood.
Vinyl Wraps
Collaging a variety of images, the designs were created digitally. The digital designs were then formatted for the vinyl wrap. The designs were printed and installed by 40 Visuals.
Design Features
Images provided by the Colonial Heights Neighborhood Association and its Instagram, highlighting the plants and wildlife featured during the community's Garden Tours.
Native plants selected by Sacramento State University's Christine Flowers, M.S., M.Ed., Environmental Studies Department were also included in the design.
Geometric shapes found in sports such as soccer, baseball, and basketball played in the park are incorporated into the design.
Community members' gardens are directly reflected in the design.
