Pasadena Art Alliance’s biennial fundraiser is an art auction. Held in even numbered years, the always creative party brings together 80-90 works of contemporary art donated by some of Southern California’s most electrifying, emerging and established artists. Participating artists are carefully chosen by an Artist Committee and the pieces are sold by silent auction at the event, which combines food, fare and fabulous art. This year’s theme was “PAA Art PAARTY” and the event was held at Vibiana in the DTLA Arts District. I had the pleasure of being a participating artist in this years fundraiser, helping to raise over 135k! The purpose of the Pasadena Art Alliance is to foster appreciation for contemporary visual arts in Southern California by supporting artists, exhibitions, educational programs and art-oriented, non-profit institutions.
