Ramparts & Restoration A Contemplation of the American Divide, curated by Max King Cap

While most of us can live comfortable or at least untroubled lives we have been lately forced to acknowledge the long ignored disjunction in our republic, a fracture in our long-held ideas of equality, in the presumed congruence of the dispensation of justice, and the even distribution of education and opportunity. The artists in this exhibition, however, offer a less frenetic, more contemplative perspective on the republic itself and its relationship to its varied population, where race, culture, and identity tilt unevenly at one another. -Max King Cap, Guest Curator

Artist Include: Max King Cap, Chris Christion, Chuck Feesago, Todd Gray, Kyungmi Shin, Ian Weaver, and Jessica Wimbley.

The exhibition will be available for viewing Feb. 1 - 28, 2021 on the Coastline Art Gallery Blog.
