Wimbley joins the inaugural 2025-26 ARx ( Artist & Researchers ) Sacramento Cohort at Aggie Square.

ARx (Artist + Researcher) Sacramento is an innovative program launching at Aggie Square that pairs local artists with scientists and researchers to turn complex, data-driven discoveries into engaging art. Powered by Wexford Science & Technology and the City of Sacramento Office of Arts & Culture, this initiative aims to foster public dialogue regarding health, innovation, and science, culminating in a public exhibition in Fall 2026. The program allows for selected participants to play a role in who they are teamed up with and once paired each team is given an honorarium for supplies and nine months to work together to create their piece in any medium desired. Each team’s piece will be displayed at multiple venues as a collection. There will be at least two events at which each team will be asked to give a 5-minute presentation on their experience, the process, and the meaning behind the piece.
