Charlie James Gallery is proud to present a walkthrough of its current exhibition House of Cards with Los Angeles-based artist Erika Rothenberg on November 5th, from 1-3pm. In House of Cards, Rothenberg reinstalls her 1992 Museum of Modern Art New York exhibition of ninety satirical greeting cards. House of Cards premiered at MoMA right before a presidential election, and here it is again, right before another. In addition, Cathy Akers, Patricia D. Burns, Carolyn Castaño, Alice Lang, Juliana Paciulli, Ali Prosch , Kaitlynn Redell, Lisa Diane Wedgeworth, Jessica Wimbley, Logan White, and Suné Woods will be participating in a discussion with curator Cindy Rehm about their work in the group show, This Wicked Tongue, on view in our project space.
